Microsoft and the French economic magazine " L'Essentiel du Management " voted Valmary " Master du Web " for their internet site project. A jury of 10 and a majority of the magazine's readers participated in the election and overwhelmingly voted for this project, seduced by its innovative style and excellent use of the potential of internet. |

"On june 27th, Pierre Cardin honoured Valmary's international development in the famous restaurant "le Fouquet's" on the Champs Elysees in Paris, France. Association "Femmes 3000 " ("Women 3000") by creating this trophy awards the action of four french women heads of company who were distinguished in their field." |

_Trophy of Marketing Innovation
The union of textile industries in France awarded Valmary the trophy of marketing innovation. The jury was particularly impressed by the start to finish concept of mail and internet order to manufacturing and also by the innovative marketing by this workshop located in the Aude. |

_Festival of Biarritz 1998
Silver medal winner in the e-business category. The principal international festival for new technologies once again elected to award the Valmary site. The design quality and the originality of the ordering process impressed a highly demanding jury. The jury of this trophy organised by the newspaper 'La Dépêche du Midi', awarded Valmary the trophies of 'best marketing strategy' and 'best diversification'. The innovation and dynamism shown by this company were considered exceptional in a sector which is confronted by competition from countries with low labour costs and thus merited this first prize. |

_Your pattern is then sent by network to a computer assisted cutting system (Cutting Edge, Gerber Garnment Technologie). It tailors your shirt with a precision that cannot be equaled by simple hand cutting. |

_Now, a succession of over forty handmade operations will be carried out to assemble your shirt. |

|
_Each of these operations must be carried out with extreme precision in order for the following operation to take place. |

_Next, various machines, guides, wires and irons are used, all of them maneuvered by experienced "petites mains" who believe in a job well done. |
|
 |
|
_At the end of the line, your shirt is controlled, measured, pressed and slipped into a smart looking bag where it is shipped directly from Valmary's workshop to your home. Everybody's objective at the VALMARY workshop is YOUR SATISFACTION. |

_Our workshop is located in the south east of France, in a very beautiful region called the Minervois. |
|
 |
|
_Our region is especially well known for its medieval city, the city of Carcassonne, a monument belonging to the UNESCO historical heritage. |
|
 |
|
_It is a unique monument, an inhabited village surrounded by ramparts. This city is linked to numerous surrounding villages by underground galleries measuring several kilometers long, which enabled the villagers to escape if attacked by an enemy. Unfortunately, for security reasons, the tunnels are no longer in use. Be sure not to miss the many castles, cradles of Catharism called " Vertiginous Citadels ", when you come to " Cathar Country " in the Aude region. And when you come, you mustn't forget to taste our wines, whether they be Minervois or Corbières. |
